Contestants face their very first challenge: A photo shoot test where they must embody the sophisticated and sexy Nicolita character.
Nicolita designer Nicole Di Rocco had the honor of being the first guest judge for the premiere of Model Latina: Miami on Sunday, Aug. 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Si TV, America's leading cable network for Latinos by Latinos. Model Latina: Miami is a one-hour weekly series featuring 12 beautiful, diverse Latinas who take over a Miami mansion and compete for a modeling contract, $10,000, and star status as the next Model Latina.
In the premiere episode of Model Latina: Miami, this year’s contestants were tested on their ability to get the best Nicolita bikini shot and were also judged on their ability to embody the Nicolita character.
“Nicolita is the romantic in all of us,” said Di Rocco. “She is sexy yet sophisticated, and fun, flirty and classy. I’m looking for the woman who can capture her essence.”
