Step 1: Trim
Remove all nail-polish
Avoid ingrown toenails by trimming straight across with a toenail clipper.
File the edges.
Step 2: Soak
Soak your feet in warm water and Epsom salts for 5-10 minutes.
While your feet are still wet, gently push back the cuticles with the flat edge of an orangewood stick.
Smooth the edges and bottoms of your dampened feet with a foot file.
Step 3: Moisturize
Dry your feet. Massage each foot with a foot lotion.
Wipe your nail beds with polish remover to remove any oils.
Wearing toe-separators, apply a thin layer of base coat. Let it dry completely.
Apply one to two coats of nail polish.
Finish with a thin layer of top coat.
TOP TIP:
Leave your shoes off for at least an hour or two to allow the polish to thoroughly dry.
