Sandstorm's Babbacombe Bathing Beauties with Dilly Day Dream accessories.

Recently we were invited to participate in a photo shoot with wedding magazine Every Avenue magazine. The shoot was in aid of Wedding Wishing Well Foundation which was set up by Naomi Thomas. The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation organise and pay for weddings for the terminally ill.
Naomi, the founder of the foundation has terminal cancer herself, but she selflessly helps others obtain their dreams. So much so, she won the 'most inspirational woman of the year' awards hosted by the Daily Mail in 2013.

The shoot was to promote the wedding dress amnesty campaign, which works as follows:
Donate a pre-loved wedding dress to your local Johnson Dry Cleaners and they will dry clean it for free, ready for collection by the Wedding Wishing Well team. The dress will then be utilised by one of their recommended terminally ill clients or it will be sold to raise funds for other aspects of the wedding.
On the day of the shoot we worked with three wonderful Devon based models; Miss Devon - Hayley Wood,  Miss Devon Sports Woman - Caitlin Milligan and Miss Devon Top Model - Emma-Lea Thorpe.

In the morning the shoot focused on beautiful designer wedding dresses and accessories and in the afternoon we had the opportunity to showcase some of our beautiful swimwear and beachwear down on Babbacombe Beach in South Devon. The weather was fantastic, it felt positively Mediterranean.
We always have fun on our shoots and this time we wanted to try something new. The theme we chose was 'bathing beauties'. Something a little different, a little bit fun and a lot retro!

We were referred to Dilly Day Dream by one of our business associates. And, we fell in love their products immediately. i.e. Luxury shower caps.
And these are no ordinary shower caps. Not only are the caps high quality and created in the UK, the product is big enough to cover your hair! Something we have always thought is a essential when you're under the shower, in the bath, at a spa and so many other situations.
Keeping your locks dry has always been a pretty non eventful task, but with these gorgeous, super cute caps, the task is: comfortable, stylish, fun, shout out loud happy and very functional!

All the caps are lined with a very soft, lightweight pvc fabric, to make them completely waterproof.  They are made to a generous size so that they don’t leave unsightly elastic marks on your forehead, whilst keeping your hair bone dry. The outer layer fabrics used to complete each hat are all washable, and so by giving your hat a gentle hand wash from time to time, it increases its life and keeps it looking and feeling fresh from the box!
There are so many lovely designs available with prices starting at £19.50 from our online store. www.SandstormLuxury.com
On the day of the shoot we utilised the: Water Melon, Wild Thing and Cherrylitious designs.

But, we also love these designs as well: Flip Flops, All Sorts and Flutterby.

And finally, if you have a special birthday or event coming up or you want to get a unique gift for a special girl or guy. These shower caps can be tailored to an individuals' requirements. They're just perfect!

All swimwear ulitised on the shoot is from our in-house designed collection - Secret beach, which is also available on our website. www.SandstormLuxury.com
