Size Matters! How to buy the right size bikini with ease at Sandstorm.

Ladies we know buying the perfect bikini or onepiece swimsuit sometimes feels like a chore!

To make life a little easier we have a fab new 'free of charge' service for all our Sandstorm clients.

Not sure what size or which style to buy? Just ask one of our Style Advisors for assistance via our 'Size Matters' service.

The service is so simple to use. All you'll need to do is send us via email your measurements, ideally with an up to date picture of yourself and a short statement stating the bikini or swimsuit you are thinking of buying. If you are not sure which gorgeous swimsuit to buy for your size and shape - don't  worry just ask us for suggestions, we'll be happy to help.

If you don't require our assistance via the 'size matters' service, that's OK, here a few top tips to consider when buying your swimwear this season.


FAB FIT:

To achieve a fab fit begin by measuring your body before you start shopping. Compare your measurements to the bathing suit size charts for each designer. 

TOP TIPS:

*  A well-fitting bathing suit will usually be a size larger than your clothing/dress size.

*  If possible, try on several suits before making your final decision.

BEND and STRETCH:
Go on - lift your arms, do some stretches, bend and sit down in the bathing suit to test that everything stays in place while you are wearing it. Check for any slack in the seat area signaling that you are wearing a suit that is too big also if there are any indentations in the skin this should alert you to choose a size larger - muffin tops are never a good look!.

One-piece Swimsuits: Test the bottom half of your suit by standing on your tiptoes and stretching up your arms. If the suit rides up making you feel uncomfortable, it is too small for you. If you have extra space in the crotch area when you extend your body you're probably wearing a size too big.
STRAPS:
Make sure your straps fits snuggly. If they slip down it's a sure indication the bathing suit is too big. If the straps cut into your shoulders then it is too small.
CUPS:
This is personal preference - you may want to have: a sexy fit or moderate or full coverage. It goes without saying that if you are large chested it is a good idea to wear bikini top with some support either via under-wired cups or via wider straps and a support band under the bust.
Waistbands are not always relevant when buying swimwear other than if you plan to wear a tankini, so the next thing to think about is:
HIPS AND LEGS:
A tie side bikini or monokini is great for getting a perfect fit with your swimwear. Which ever style you choose (to include a onepiece suit) you should aim for a snug fit on the top of your legs. Watch out for any puckering of material. Test the edges and bands by pulling them out a little and seeing how quickly they snap back into place.

FINALLY: take a look over your shoulder at your derriere while trying on the bathing suits.   Make sure you are happy with the cover you'll achieve, especially if you do not want to expose your cheeks! Introducing - Anysha Pansear - Miss Teen Great Britain International 2012

We recently had the pleasure of meeting Anysha Pansear Miss Teen Great Britain International. She is such a positive bubbly young lady who has so much potential we thought she deserved a special mention in our blog.  

Anysha initially competed in pageants to boost her confidence after enduring years of bullying at school. After entering Galaxy International in the US in 2010 as Miss Teen Europe Galaxy, she placed first runner up and was then asked to enter America’s PERFECT Teen in Orlando Florida later that month. It came as quite a shock when she was crowned the new America’s PERFECT Teen winning a fully paid scholarship to Broadcasting college in the USA and making her the very first international winner of a major US National pageant. 

Anysha caused a worldwide media frenzy after winning her title, with appearances on US TV The Today Show, UK TV and Radio and articles and photos in The New York Times, The Times of India and front page of many UK magazines and newspapers.  

Anysha has used her fame to help raise the profile of her charity, Bullies Out, where she is responsible for establishing mentoring schemes in schools for children both in the UK and the US.  

During 2010 and 2011, Anysha travelled worldwide completing number of modelling assignments, while still studying for her A Level examinations in college. 

Earlier this year she also became a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and she now has an AA Degree in Broadcast Media.  

Anysha also works alongside her mother in running the very first PERFECT pageant to be run outside of the USA  i.e. Europe’s PERFECT and Little Miss PERFECT.

In 2012 Anysha also set up her own company called 'Crown Chicks' and the business gives support girls who wish to compete in pageants. 

This ambitious young lady is not just a pretty face she is committed to helping others through her charity work, Crown Chicks and her anti-bullying campaigning.

As the current Miss Teen Great Britain International, Anysha also makes regular appearances and will compete at Internationals in Chicago in July 2012.

Gorgeous British model Alize Lily Mounter is Miss England 2011 and Miss World Europe 2011/2012 (Alize was crowned Miss World Europe in November 2011).
During her reign, Alize is jetting around the world visitng exotic places, helping charities and offering support and assistance to the Miss World charity - Beauty with a Purpose.
In February 2012 Alize visited Mauritus where she completed a number of offical engagements.
